The Map on this page is by George Taylor and Andrew Skinner and come from their work "Maps of The Roads of Ireland" Surveyed in 1777 and published for the authors on the 14th November 1778 in London. This is the first edition.

This work was a survey of the roads of Ireland of the time and cover some 8000 miles. This project was funded by the British House of Commons.
